Krimski Most (Crimean Bridge) is a bridge located in Moscow, Russia. It spans across the Moskva River, connecting the downtown area with the district of Luzhniki. The bridge was designed by the architect Nikolai Shumakov and constructed in 1938. It was originally named Krasnoluzhsky Bridge, but its name was later changed to Krimski Most in honor of the Crimean War of 1853-1856. The bridge is 776 meters long and 35 meters wide, and it has six lanes for vehicular traffic and sidewalks for pedestrians. In 2018, a new bridge was built parallel to Krimski Most to alleviate traffic congestion, and the original bridge was restored and turned into a pedestrian-only zone. The bridge is one of the iconic landmarks of Moscow and offers stunning views of the city's skyline and the Moskva River.
